OMAHA, Neb. — Severe weather pushed through Omaha Wednesday night.

A funnel cloud was spotted just east of Bennington, Neb.

Rain caused flooding along parts of L street and downed tree limbs in the northwest and southwest parts of the city.

OPPD reported 4,230 customers in Douglas County lost power as of 9 p.m.

Around 350 customers in Sarpy County were also in the dark.

Over in Iowa, a little more than 100 MidAmerican Energy customers lost electricity in Council Bluffs. The number of blackouts jumped after a strong thunderstorm moved out of the Omaha-area.
