Authorities say a construction worker was killed this morning after he fell 20 to 30 feet while working on the Andover Point Apartments construction site off Chandler Plaza.
The Sarpy County Sheriff's Office responded to a rescue call at 8:42 a.m. Authorities say Jerome Charvat was working on an elevated platform when he fell.
Charvat was flown to Bergen Mercy Hospital in critical condition where he later died. The reason for his fall is unknown at this time.
