Otoe County officials say a 75-year-old man is in jail after he was accused of sexually assaulting two residents of a Nebraska City nursing home.
Officials say Terry McClane faces six criminal counts for assaults reported this week by two women at the home, one in her 40s, the other in her 50s.
The suspect has been charged with two counts each of first degree sexual assault, third degree sexual assault and abuse of a vulnerable adult for violating women who were in the home for medical care.
Officials tell KMTV that McClane lives in Cass County and was visiting his wife at the facility before her death in May.
Authorities added that the visits continued after her death, with allegations McClane committed a sexual assault June 17th after other violations involving the victims earlier this year.
McClane is in Otoe County jail, held without bond pending a hearing next week.
An official with the Golden LivingCenter nursing home released this following statement:
"We have zero tolerance for this kind of behavior in our LivingCenters and are cooperating fully with the authorities and family members of the residents involved in the alleged incident. Our patients and residents are our highest priority, and we continually strive to protect them as best as we can."
