Authorities made an arrest today in the Damon Jackson homicide.
The Omaha Police Metro Task Force arrested Amari Ware, 27, booking her into the Douglas County Corrections for accessory to murder and accessory to arson.
At 2:36 a.m. Oct. 21, Omaha Police received a report of a shooting near 26th and Sahler streets. Jackson was found at the scene dead of an apparent gunshot wound, according to an OPD press release.
The case is still being investigated.
