Missing boys found safe in Kansas, suspect arrested

According to the Tekemah Police Department, the two children who were abducted Monday morning were located safely in Kansas and are in the process of reuniting with their parents.

The step-grandfather of the boys, 30-year-old Tanner Leicheiter, was taken into custody and booked into the Sedgwick County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing.

An AMBER alert has been issued for two children who have been abducted from Tekamah, Nebraska.

The children are Marco De La Garza, age 7, and Isaac De La Garza, age 4.

They are believed to be with Tanner Leicheiter, age 30. He is 5'7'', 165 lbs, green eyes, brown hair, and may be in a white 2009 Expedition with a Nebraska license plate 31-F325.

Their direction of travel is unknown, but both children are believed to be in danger.
