Convicted killer Anthony Garcia will learn whether or not he gets the death penalty on Sept. 14, according to our partners at the Omaha World-Herald.
At a June hearing, his attorney said his family pressure, substance abuse and mental disabilities were the reason that he should be kept off death row.
Garcia killed four people, including a child, between 2008 and 2013 as revenge for his firing from Creighton University's pathology department.
