OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — If you want to help support people with Alzheimer's and also help raise awareness about the disease, there are several ways you can do so today.
The Alzheimer's Association has partnered with area organizations, in a call to action movement, to support people impacted by the disease.
They say you can take part in these events:
WHAT: Denise McCown lost her father to Alzheimer's disease in 2015. In his honor, she is hosting "The Longest Day of Prayer" in collaboration with three organizations. Various prayer services are scheduled and drop-ins are welcomed throughout the day.
