The snow throughout the Metro Sunday caused many problems, including power outages that affected several schools.
OPPD worked through the night to restore power at the schools and their efforts were successful. On Monday morning, both OPS and Westside schools tweeted that classes would proceed as normal.
OPS officials have been working closely with OPPD officials throughout the evening and as of 6:15 a.m. this morning, all Omaha Public Schools are reported as having power. School will continue as normal. @OPS_LoganSupt

UPDATE: Power has been restored at all #Westside schools. Classes will be held as scheduled on Monday, October 15.
