John McAuliffe Jr., 51, was arrested on Jan. 14 for a carjacking at the Horseshoe Casino on Dec. 30. A 53-year-old was shot in the incident.
McAuliffe turned himself in at the Pottawattamie County Jail for warrants of attempted murder, first-degree robbery and willful injury.
On Jan. 12, Council Bluffs Police asked for the public's assistance in finding McAuliffe, who they considered armed and dangerous.
He remains in custody in Pottawattamie County.
