Arrest made in Thursday murder

Omaha Police have made an arrest in the city's latest murder.
 
Officers arrested 31 year old Jeffrey Loving for 1st degree murder. He's accused of shooting 49 year old Marshall Washington, Jr. near 30th and Vane just before 6 Thursday evening.  Washington, Jr. was taken to Nebraska Medicine where he was pronounced dead. 
 
An Omaha Fire Department ambulance that was responding to the scene was involved in an accident at 30th and Ames. Police say the ambulance was crossing through a red light with it's lights and siren on when it hit a pickup. The driver of the pickup, 62 year old Robert Hollis of Omaha was thrown from the pickup. Hollis is hospitalized with life-threatening head injuries.
