OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — An Omaha man may be facing additional charges after the person he's accused of assaulting died.
The Omaha Police Department (OPD) said 57-year-old Massey Allen Jr. was charged with the felony assault of 49-year-old Horace Steen on March 25. On Wednesday, OPD said Steen died from his injuries.
Witnesses told police Allen punched Steen which resulted in the victim hitting his head on concrete. Police say Steen was rushed to the University of Nebraska Medical Center for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
No additional charges have been announced by police as of yet.
