Authorities in Harrison County have identified the body of a man who died after driving a dump truck into a sand pit.
According to the Harrison County Sheriff's Office, 38-year-old Christopher McMullen was driving northbound when he failed to make a turn and drove over a dirt berm and down a steep embankment before becoming submerged in a sand pit under water.
The recovery of the truck was made difficult because of thick ice and the size of the truck, which weighed 166,000 pounds.
