UPDATE, 9:59 a.m: The driver of the tractor has been identified as 41-year-old Adrian Latham, who has a suspended Iowa driver's license and was not wearing a shirt at the time of his arrest.
Latham was transported to Douglas County Corrections and was booked for operating during suspension, willful reckless driving, felony flight to avoid arrest and felony criminal mischief. Latham was also transported to Lakeside Hospital because of a possible drug overdose and complaint of foot pain. He was medically cleared.
Latham did not own the tractor and it is unknown who the tractor belongs to.
ORIGINAL STORY
Omaha Police pursued an alleged drunk driver on a tractor Wednesday morning.
Officers headed to the Wal-Mart parking lot near 160th and West Maple around 2 a.m. and officers say the man left the Wal-Mart on his tractor and then a short time later he crashed through two gates and into an embankment near 187th and Blondo.
Police later arrested the man.
