BELLEVUE, Neb. (KMTV) - The city's parks department is expected Monday to begin the next phase of tornado cleanup  targeting the Oakhurst neighborhood, according to City Administrator Joe Mangiamelli.

Crews are expected to work in an area north of 33rd Avenue.

The city released a three-part phase timeline in September, which included the Two Springs neighborhood and Daniell Trail, after a pair of tornadoes ripped through the area over the summer.

According to the city, the phase is expected to continue through Dec. 21 but believes trees and limbs weakened from the storm will continue to be an issue in the coming years with heavy winds.
