Bellevue PD looking for man wanted for attempted sexual assault

The Bellevue Police Department says they are looking for a man suspected of attempted sexual assault on Wednesday night.

BPD officers said at around 9:35 p.m., they were called to a Walgreen's located in the 1800 block of Galvin Road. 

An employee of the store told officers she was confronted by the man  in the store's women's restroom. 

Officials say the suspect held the woman against her will and attempted to sexually assault her.

The woman sustained minor injuries during the incident and was able to call for help.

According to BPD, the suspect then ran from the store. It is not known if the suspect fled on foot or in a vehicle. 

The suspect is described as a white male, between 20 and 30 years old. 

BPD described the suspect was described as having a slight build weighing approximately 170 lbs.

He has short red/brown hair, a mustache and short beard. He was wearing a multi color short sleeve tee shirt, bright blue shorts, and grey and black tennis shoes.
