Bellevue Police Department releases pictures of bank robbers

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Bellevue Police Department (BPD) needs your help in identifying two suspects they say robbed a bank in the popular Twin Creek shopping district.

The robbery took place at the Great Western Bank located at 3705 Twin Creek Drive yesterday morning, just after nine.

There, BPD says, "Two possibly black males entered the bank with handguns and demanded money." Both suspects wore hoodies, gloves and masks to conceal their identities and made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

BPD says their stolen getaway vehicle, a tan Buick Rendezvous, was found abandoned at a nearby apartment complex.

The FBI's Violent Task Force is assisting with the investigation.
