OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Berkshire Hathaway Shopping day kicked off Friday, which brings people in from all over the world. Their mission, to get their hands on some unique items offered at this event.
One of the marquee items was pairs of Brooks running shoes with Warren Buffet's face imprinted on them. The shoes were a popular item but if you’re not into running, there was something for everyone. Other items included special t-shirts, rubber ducks, food related items, and beach towels just to name a few.
Those behind the event say it’s about bringing new fresh items in, to keep people coming back. “We have product developers in house that design all of it, so whether it’s a beach towel with Warren’s face, on it or a pin, we just have really fun and unique stuff,” says Michelle Johnson, Corporate Communications Manager for Oriental Trading.
Those at the event have plenty of items that will give them reminders of the shopping event, that should hold them over until next year.
