The Huskers football season opener is just 48 hours away. The first "Big Red Breakfast" was Thursday morning. Our news partners at the Omaha World-Herald sponsored the event at Anthony's Steakhouse at 72nd and F.
Dr. Rob Zatechka, a former Husker, gave his outlook for the season.
"I think it's going to be better than what most pundits are saying. I know it seems like they got Nebraska getting, 6, 7 and maybe 8 wins this year. I think they got a legitimate chance to get 9 or 10 and I think that's a pretty good estimate of how they're going to end up doing," he said.
Nebraska takes on Arkansas State with kick off just after 7 p.m. on Saturday.
