OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — This morning, the University of Nebraska's Board of Regents is meeting to discuss the approval of a new University President. Walter "Ted" Carter has been named the new University of Nebraska President.

Carter has a track record of helming educational institutes and will be the University's eighth president.
