Gubernatorial candidate Bob Krist has selected his running mate for the primary election, selecting first-term state senator Lynne Walz of Fremont.
If the pair is elected, Walz would be just the second female Lt. Governor in the state's history.
They face Democrats Vanessa Ward and Tyler Davis for the nomination on May 15.
