Body of hunter recovered from Sherman County Reservoir

LOUP CITY, Neb. (KMTV) — Nebraska Game & Parks says the body of 21-year-old hunter Anthony Dush was recovered Friday night.

Dush and another hunter were traveling across the Sherman County Reservoir in a boat when it capsized, throwing both into the water.

According to Nebraska Game & Parks, the other hunter swam to a nearby cabin and called for help.

Conservation officers, along with the Burwell Dive Team, located Dush, of St. Paul, at approximately 9 p.m. Friday.

Investigation into the incident is ongoing.
