A judge set bond on Wednesday for a man accused of drunk driving and causing a deadly crash.

David Hadi, who was charged with motor vehicle homicide for the Sunday, March 13 crash that killed Carl Gauff and injured 15-year-old Dante Chavez, appeared before a judge Wednesday morning.

The judge set his bond at $500,000, which means he has to pay 10 percent before he can be released from jail.

Prosecutors said Hadi's blood alcohol content was recorded at 0.308.
