An 78-year-old Ralston man accused of trying to meet an underage teen made his first court appearance Monday.
Bond was set at $100,000 for Patrick Hofer.
Investigators say he was engaged in a sexually explicit conversation online with what he believed to be a juvenile male last week.
Instead, he was talking to an undercover Bellevue detective.
Hofer arranged to meet with the juvenile in Banner Park, where police met and arrested him.
