Kydale Lindsay, 21, is formally charged with four counts of terroristic threats and 4 counts of use of a weapon to commit a felony in Douglas County Court on Friday.
Judge Lawrence Barrett sets his bond at $250,000 - 10%.
Lindsay allegedly walked into the Irvington Exit Walmart on Thursday with a shotgun wrapped in a camouflaged jacket and pointed it at 4 employees in the break room.
The entire store was evacuated, and no one was hurt.
Prosecutors say Lindsay told police he did it to protect him from the government that's giving everyone AIDS.
His mom and sister say he quit his managerial position at Walmart a few weeks ago because he was struggling with the work and mental health.
They add they've tried to have the police commit him but it hasn't worked.
OPD doesn't commit anyone if they aren't an immediate danger to themselves or others.
"We've been definitely seeking help for a couple of weeks now. On Monday I was on the phone with Immanuel and they said I couldn't commit him he would have to voluntarily come down there himself, which we've been trying to do and getting nowhere because he's an adult. It's been hard it has been," said Gina C., Lindsay's sister.
His mother says Lindsay purchased the shotgun legally since he doesn't have a criminal record.
Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine says his defense attorney will likely have him evaluated soon.
"There seems to be the possibility of mental health issues so I'm sure that's something that will be looked into in the immediate future," Kleine explained. He'll be back in court in July.
