OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — With lots of kids learning at home, some daycare centers are seeing a lower than usual enrollment. The Garden Patch Creative Learning Center is turning the page and having a book fair to raise funds.

They have hundreds of books for sale, everything from your favorite Disney characters to Baby Shark books with a touchable fin.

"We have some 3-D ones that the kids really like, especially for the younger ones," said Stephanie Smith, Assistant Director, Garden Patch Creative Learning Center. "Reading helps with speech and learning new words."

The learning center can house more than 200 kids, aged six weeks to 12 years old. You can call to schedule a tour. The staff says they are more than just a daycare center, but a place that truly cares for your kid.

"I feel like the staff is really important when caring for kids," said Smith. "All of us really love our jobs and really enjoy being here. All of the kids really enjoy being here. Just coming inside the door, I feel happy everyday and that is the really big part that everyone really loves their job."

The book fair takes place all this week at 193 & Q St. with some books priced as low as $3. You can pick up a book in person or online.

You can purchase books onlinehere.
