UPDATE: Boys Town teen's death under investigation, name released
Officials at Boys Town say a student was found dead overnight.
"The staff of Boys Town learned today of the death of a Boys Town youth. We are devastated to lose a member of the Boys Town family and offer our deepest condolences to his family, family-teachers, teammates and friends at Boys Town. Counselors and grief support will be available to the youth and staff on campus," a spokesperson for Boys Town said in a prepared statement.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office says the teen showed no signs of obvious trauma, but they are still working to determine how he died.
No other information was immediately available.
