Omaha firefighters are currently battling an apartment building fire in West Omaha.
Firefighters were called to the Cambridge VIllas near 168th & West Dodge just before 9 p.m.. When they arrived they could see smoke coming from a building.
Commanders called for a second alarm after finding heavy fire conditions in one building and later issued a third alarm.
As of 11:25, flames were still burning in one building. Firefighters have taken a defensive approach due to concerns of a building collapse.
