Charges are pending for a driver police say struck a brick retaining wall late Friday night.
Officers responded to a crash at 42nd and R Street.
The investigation revealed that a 2001 Honda Accord was going southbound on 42nd Street when it veered to the east, left the roadway and slammed into a large brick retaining wall.
The driver of the Honda, 19-year-old Yulissa Partida-alvarez, was taken to Nebraska Medicine for a broken leg.
