OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - Customers of the Metropolitan Utilities District who need help paying their gas and water bills due to the ongoing pandemic can apply for help from a federally funded program.
The Douglas County Board of Commissioners voted Tuesday to increase the maximum amount from $750-$1200 per household for utility assistance through the CARES Act.
Back in July, $4 million was awarded to help customers with their bills.
