COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa (KMTV) — On Sunday night, the Council Bluffs Police Department was notified of a disturbance between a man with a "violent history" and woman located at 136 Bennett Avenue.
Police say they were able to determine 37-year-old Dudie Rose was in an apartment at the complex and that he barricaded himself within, "threatening to shoot officers."
After about 20 minutes, police say they were able to convince Rose to surrender.
Rose was arrested for the original warrant and charged with a new restraining order violation. No injuries occurred.
