UPDATE: CBPD locates woman considered a witness in murder case

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa (KMTV) — Council Bluffs police say detectives have located a woman who may have valuable information in the Adam Angeroth murder case. They've spoken to Zee-Zee. They're not releasing her name as she's considered a witness. CBPD would like to thank the public and media for their assistance.

Council Bluffs Police need the public's help in identifying a person of interest that may help investigators in the Adam Angeroth murder case.

Police found his body inside an apartment near 1st and Broadway on January 24, 2019.

An autopsy showed the 38-year-old died from blunt force trauma and knife wounds.

Police are looking for a white female, who uses the nickname "Zee-Zee" (or ZeZe or ZZ), between 18-23 years old, about 5'5" tall, 120 pounds with shoulder length dark hair.

The woman is a known associate of Liam Stec, 21, who is currently being held and charged with 1st degree murder.

Police say the woman may have valuable information in the case.

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information on the identity and whereabouts of "Zee-Zee."
