A Douglas County jury has reached a verdict in a double murder trial
Jurors found Charles Trotter guilty of first degree murder. Trotter shot and killed Marcel Lovejoy and Dexter Joseph in their apartment near 100th and Fort in January of 2015.
Trotter's first trial ended in a mistrial in March, after a courthouse brawl. As a result, security was ratcheted up for the second trial.
Trotter will be sentenced August 24th
