A La Vista woman accused of sending pornographic pictures to a 15 year old boy made her first court appearance.

32-year-old Michelle Monasmith is charged with enticement by an electronic communication device.

Monasmith stood in front of the judge, handcuffed during jail court. I spoke to her aunt afterwards who blames the whole situation on "bad judgment."

This all unfolded when the teen's parents suspected a sexual relationship between the 15-year-old boy and the 32-year-old single mother.

The boy's mother asked Sarpy County for a protection order last month. She claims she found a photo of Monasmith on her son's cell phone.

The deputy county attorney says she sent naked pictures of herself to the boy. But her aunt, Jackie Wills, says that's not the case.

"Sometimes Michelle, she just does crazy, wild things. because she's a funny person" said Wills. "I think people misunderstand people. I think in the court houses, they make things bigger than what they are. I know what was sent."

Wills says the boy is a friend of Monasmith's daughter who's about the same age.

This morning the judge set Monasmith's bond at 10-thousand dollars. She's also forbidden from having contact with minors except with her children.
