The City of Omaha is gaining around 9,000 residents after the City Council approved the mayor's annexation plan Tuesday.

The approved package does not include Miracle Hills, although the original did.

Additionally, two of the seven residents who live near 192nd and Center will get "greenbelt status" which will limit the amount their property taxes go up. However, a majority of those who had their SIDs annexed will pay lower property taxes.
