OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The City Council will vote on the mayor's latest annexation plan today.

If approved, Omaha could grow by more than 2,100 people. It would add eight neighborhoods in West and Northwest Omaha.

The mayor's office says the move would bring in more than $43 million in revenue during the next 10 years, while lowering property taxes in the area.
