UNDERWOOD, Iowa. (KMTV) — Flash flooding in Underwood, IA has resulted in the shut down of their main sewer lift station.
Residents are asked to conserve water and refrain from flushing toilets and dumping anything down the drain during this time.
A press release from the Pottawattamie Director of Emergency Management says city crews and assisting agencies are working to secure the lift station from floodwaters and will return the system to service as soon as possible.
