People began arriving here at Omaha North High school early this morning to get in line for a seat to Hillary Clinton's campaign event.

Folks were already lining up at 5:00 am. Many of them saying they support the candidate.

For others, its about the significance of a woman running as the nominee from a major party.

Bethany Gohres drove six hours with her young son and daughter from La Crosse, Wisconsin.

“ I think it would be cool for her to look back on history, she doesn't understand it now but one day she'll understand it,” she said.

They were already letting some of the folks lining up come in and get out of the heat and use the restrooms Monday morning.

One supporter spoke to KMTV's Lindsey Theis after the speech and you can watch the video above.

While the Omaha North High School gym was packed with Hillary Clinton supporters..

Some left disappointed. Just before 4:00 pm, there were hundreds still waiting to try to get inside.. Many were turned away at the door because there was simply no more room inside.
