Columbus man wounded in Council Bluffs shooting

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa (KMTV) - The Council Bluffs Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened Wednesday night.

Police said they responded to the area of 800 North 34th Street at 6:20 p.m. for a report of shots fired and found a man laying in the parking lot with a gunshot wound.

The victim, 24-year-old Daquon Berry of Columbus, was brought to UNMC and is in serious condition.

Nobody else was injured in the incident.
