The quiet town of Neola, Iowa is mourning the loss of one of their own, 14-year-old Gage Williams.

Investigators combed the scene on Tuesday where a pickup filled with teenagers rolled Monday evening.

Williams was a passenger in the truck and the other three boys were from his track team at tri-center high school, where Williams died.

On Tuesday night, the community came together at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Neola.

Many members wore the colors Black and Gold, the school colors, to remember Williams.

Inside the building where the gathering took place it was standing room only.

One of Williams friends, Lane Goble said Williams was the kind of guy that would lift your spirits up.

"He's the kind of guy if you're having a bad day, you're day will get brighter when he walks into the room-he can make you laugh," said Goble.

Gobel said he became really good friends with Williams this year, being on the track team together and they both like to play videogames.

Gobel is trying to cope with the loss of his close friend along with other classmates.

School counselors said they are at the school anytime the kids need them.
