FREMONT, Neb. (KMTV) - Despite much division in the city and a legal battle, Costco broke ground on its $300 million Poultry Processing Plant in Fremont Monday.
Company executives, elected officials and project partners were all on hand for groundbreaking. The plant will start a network of producers in Eastern Nebraska, according to a release.
There was a lawsuit over the plant filed in July, but that was droppedlast month.
