The city of Council Bluffs is saying their final goodbyes to Lt. Ben Roth.
The officer lost his battle to cancer this past weekend.

Wednesday afternoon, family, friends, fellow officers and community members came together to remember the officer loved by many.
Lieutenant Roth proudly spent 18 years with the Council Bluffs police.

Protecting and serving the town he grew up in.
This procession will continue to the garner township cemetery, where he'll be laid to rest.
