COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa. (KMTV) — The Pottawattamie Arts, Culture, & Entertainment kicks off its annual "Music and Movies" event this week.
The event takes place at the city's historic Bayliss Park, just five minutes from downtown Omaha.
Music & Movies consists of six music nights, as well as six movie nights. The first night is Wednesday, June 12, running through July 26. Music & Movies is free and open to the public.
Pam & The Pearls, singer Kaylyn Sahs, funk-rock band The Confidentials, Marcos & Sabor, the Omaha Big Band, and blues act Blue House & The Rent to Own Horns make up the music portion.
"Into the Spider-Verse," the latest Spider-Man release, "North by Northwest," an Alfred Hitchcock classic, the original "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory," Disney's animated films "Zootopia," "Inside Out," and "Coco" round out the movie portion.
