Slot machines and poker tables could be a new sight in Carter Lake after the Ponca Tribe landed approval for a new casino. However, the City of Council Bluffs is worried about the impact another casino in the area would have on their casinos.
On Monday night, the Council Bluffs City Council will meet with the city attorney about the options the city has to appeal construction.
The Ponca Tribe has the backing of the National Indian Gaming Commission.
