A Council Bluffs man is dead after a crash late Friday night.
Police say 67 year old William Snyder died after the minivan he was driving crashed into a power pole near 23rd Avenue and South 35th Street around just after 11:30 p.m.. Investigators say Snyder was westbound on 23rd when the minivan left the road and hit the power pole before coming to rest in a field.
Power was knocked out to several businesses in the area. The crash remains under investigation.
