COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa. (KMTV) — A Council Bluffs Police officer avoided gunfire and left a suspect with non-life threatening injuries after a confrontation at Bucky's Gas Station near 35th St & Nebraska Ave Saturday morning.

Carr was transported to UNMC for treatment. No one else was injured in the incident and the officer's names will be released at a later time.
