UPDATE: 6:27 p.m.: Terence Crawford released without charges.

Crawford was taken into Omaha Police custody for questioning as part of an investigation into a disturbance between two women on North 30th Street Tuesday afternoon.

According to our partners the Omaha World-Herald, Crawford was watching the fight involving a friend, and when his friend appeared to be losing, Crawford told the women to stop. When they continued fighting, Crawford yelled he had a gun and pulled it.  That's when the crowd scattered and police were called.

Police stopped Crawford a few blocks later and took him into custody.  At this point, Crawford has not been booked or cited for anything.  He does have a concealed-carry permit.

Crawford is currently on probation for an incident at a body shop last year. He is appealing the 90 days in jail sentence he received in December for the misdemeanor property damage and disorderly conduct.
