OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — We have received an update from Creighton Prep:
Today, in response to an anonymous social media post, the school, in cooperation with law enforcement, issued a lockout that has since been resolved without incident.
During that time, students and teachers were safely continuing their normal activities and no one was allowed to enter or exit the building. The lockout ended after law enforcement conducted an investigation and determined that there was no safety concern.
When any school safety issue arises, like today, we notify parents through our emergency notification service.
Creighton Prep High School is currently on lockout according to a school official.
This is a developing story. 3 News Now Reporter Jon Kipper will have more information as it becomes available.
