A Benson church received minor damage after a garage fire broke out nearby early Thursday morning.
The fire started around midnight near maple and north 60th Street.
When crews arrived they found three cars inside the garage engulfed in flames.
That fire then spread to another garage.
The heat from the fire caused minor damage to the church next door.
