Crowds spread holiday cheer at Wells Fargo Family Festival

Posted

Wells Fargo held it's 11th annual Family Festival this afternoon.

Families could enjoy music, crafts and games at Wells Fargo's Downtown Headquarters. The Joslyn Museum also hosted a wizard-themed event with magic by the Amazing Arthur.

The Omaha Police Department Mounted Patrol opened it's doors to meet their horses and take a ride on the Wells Fargo Stagecoach.

Participants were invited to donate nonperishable goods for the Shine the Light on Hunger Campaign, which feeds local families in need.

"We are collecting at each one of the locations, we're also collecting at each one of our branches across the city also for that.  So it helps that, but also it's important, it's about families.  It's about having families, give a free event for them and to really kick off the holidays," said Wells Fargo Regional President Kirk Kellner.

The event included six stops in the Downtown Omaha area with transportation by Ollie the Trolley.
