A piece of baseball history made a stop in Omaha Friday afternoon.
The Chicago Cubs World Series trophy was on display for metro Cubs fans to see firsthand at Westside High School. Fans lined up and waited a half-hour or longer to get a quick picture next to the trophy. All had waited a lifetime to see the Cubs finally win a World Series when they defeated the Cleveland Indians in November.
The win ended a 108 year title drought for the Cubs.
The trophy left Westside at 5 p.m. for it's next stop in Lincoln.
